We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk with hands-on Ecommerce collections experience, specifically with marketplaces such as Wayfair and Amazon. The ideal candidate understands the billing, claims, and disputes processes unique to Ecommerce platforms and is comfortable navigating multiple vendor portals.
This role will collaborate closely with our Ecommerce Operations Manager to resolve chargebacks, short-pays, and deductions, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable collections for Ecommerce accounts including Wayfair, Amazon, and other online retail partners.
- Navigate and utilize Ecommerce vendor portals for invoicing, claims validation, dispute submission, deductions research, and payment tracking.
- Review, analyze, and follow up on short-pays, chargebacks, and customer disputes.
- Work with the Ecommerce Operations Manager to identify recurring issues, escalate problems, and ensure resolution.
- Reconcile account statements, monitor aging, and maintain accurate AR records.
- Process and track billing, credits, and claim documentation in accordance with customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience, with at least 1 year focused on Ecommerce accounts (Wayfair, Amazon, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Ecommerce billing and claims processes
- Proficiency with vendor portals used for invoicing, claims, deductions, and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OMS (Office Master System) ERP a plus.
- Experience working in the furniture, consumer goods, or retail distribution industry.
- Knowledge of Ecommerce payables processes.
