Shift Lead / Events Coordinator - Full Time Year Round

Our incredible staff are the crown jewels of New City and we're looking for an aspiring leader to join our team full-time year-round as a Shift Lead and Events Coordinator. As we grow and expand into new locations, this could be where your growth story begins!

Your playground:

• Supervising Front of House operations

• Opening and closing the shop

• Handling transactions and deposits

• Mentoring scoopers

• Creating waffle cone masterpieces

• Maintaining the shop's allure

• Engaging guests and making them feel cherished

• Protecting company assets and ensuring profit maximization

• Upselling and adding value to the guest experience

Events:

• Assist operations manager in booking catering events and negotiating pricing and offerings

• Direct catering events to ensure maximum customer satisfaction

• Cater Weddings, Graduations, Corporate events and SO MUCH MORE!!!

• Provide exceptional service for life's most special moments

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Mentoring and training prowess

• Communication wizardry for conflict resolution and team direction

• Strong attention to detail. We use Restaurant365, Toast, and Paycom to streamline processes.

Your schedule:

• 4-6 Shifts per week, 32-40 hours/week.

• Daytime shifts available

• Weekends and holidays

• Pay rate: $17 to start, plus tips (Tip game strong, adding $6-$10/hour extra to your pocket - varies by location)
