Experienced Asphalt Paving Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Asphalt Paving Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as asphalt pavers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to facilitate paving operations.
• Manage concrete mixers and concrete pumping equipment to support paving projects that require concrete applications.
• Prepare construction sites by installing rebar, setting forms, and ensuring proper surface grading for optimal paving results.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth material delivery using commercial vehicles and loaders.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Assist with concrete finishing tasks to achieve smooth, durable surfaces following paving procedures.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper operation of construction machinery and adherence to site safety standards.

Experience

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks in a construction or paving environment.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and rebar installation techniques.
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues promptly.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification preferred for operating commercial vehicles on-site.
• Prior experience with concrete forming, paving operations, and site preparation is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
