Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with Monthly P&L Statements for multiple locations.
- Maintenance of Working Papers.
- Revenue Calculations.
- Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Cash receipts.

Bachelor’s degree required
Proficiency in Excel
Knowledge of Sage 100 is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards such as GAAP.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify the integrity of financial data.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment management using systems like Paychex, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or Ceridian.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger reconciliation using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
- Support payroll management tasks by processing payroll data through systems like Workday or ADP while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions through data entry and double-entry bookkeeping practices.
- Collaborate on internal audits related to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance and prepare documentation for external audits.
- Contribute to budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or governmental accounting environments.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; experience with Workday or UltiPro is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and technical accounting standards.
- Familiarity with payroll management systems like ADP or Kronos and experience with tax compliance procedures.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in 10-key typing is preferred.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation, analyze financial data, and prepare detailed reports efficiently.
