- Assist theTransportation Specialist with clerical and administrative duties.
- Answer telephone calls and greet visitors to the department in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for the department.
- Provide general office support and perform other duties as assigned by the specialist or department director.
- Prepare outgoing packages for shipment via UPS and maintain accurate shipping records.
- Receive incoming packages from various vendors, verify contents, and deliver items to the appropriate personnel and school locations.
- Report discrepancies, errors, or concerns to Central Office/CEC.
- Complete Central Stores orders and deliver materials to designated buildings.
- Conduct an annual inventory of Central Stores to verify balances with CEC.
- Process and deliver supply orders for custodial staff to appropriate buildings.
- Conduct a daily inter-office mail and delivery route.
- Assist with snow removal and other facilities-related tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Proficiency in basic office equipment and software preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages and supplies.
