Camp Y-Ki is hiring Program Specialists to lead fun, engaging activities in several areas such as Archery, Nature, Sports, Arts & Crafts, STEM, and Team Building. If you have a background or experience in any of these areas, we would love to hear how we can make this a summer to remember!

Position Summary:
The Archery Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering safe and engaging archery programs for campers in accordance with YMCA policies and ACA standards. This role focuses on teaching proper archery techniques, promoting sportsmanship, ensuring safety at all times, and fostering a fun and positive camp experience for all participants.
The Nature Specialist is responsible for developing and leading exciting, hands-on outdoor education and nature-based activities that help campers explore, appreciate, and connect with the natural world. This role encourages curiosity, environmental awareness, and respect for the outdoors while promoting the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The Nature Specialist brings environmental education to life through exploration, creativity, and fun, fostering a love of nature in every camper.
Sports Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading engaging sports and physical activity programs for campers throughout the summer. This role plays a key part in promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and fun while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. The Sports Specialist works collaboratively with camp counselors and leadership staff to help campers stay active, confident, and connected through play — embodying the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
The Team Building Specialist is responsible for creating and leading dynamic, engaging activities that promote teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving among campers. This role helps campers learn the value of cooperation and respect while building friendships and confidence through fun and meaningful challenges. The Team Building Specialist fosters a positive environment that embodies the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, helping every camper feel included and empowered.
The Life & STEM Specialist is responsible for developing and leading fun, hands-on educational activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and discovery in campers. This role blends the excitement of camp with engaging learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), and essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The Life & STEM Specialist helps campers explore, experiment, and grow in a supportive YMCA environment that promotes learning through play and imagination.
Arts & Crafts Specialist is responsible for planning and leading creative, hands on art project and activities that inspire campers to express themselves and explore their imaginations. This role encourages creativity, confidence and fun while promoting the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The Arts & Crafts Specialist helps make camp a colorful and exciting experience by providing engaging projects that allow every camper to shine.
