Job Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homemakers to provide essential support and care within a home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs.

This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: "Other duties my be assigned:

• Maintain a Safe Environment for the client.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks: Vacuuming, Dispose of Trash, Sweeping/Mopping Floors, Dusting, Wash/Dry Dishes, Change Bed Linens, Weekly Grocery Shopping
• Prepare Nutritious Meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain open communication with the client on service delivery completion.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams regarding client progress.

Required Documentation:

• Must have a Valid MA Driver's License
• Must have Reliable Transportation
• Proof of Automobile Insurance Policy
• (2) Forms of ID: 1. MA Driver's License and Social Security Card or Birth Certificate or Pass Port
• Completed Physician's Statement: Physical Demands: In Good Physical Health: No Restrictions to fulfill the Homemaker Position & Current Negative TB (Tuberculosis Vaccine) or copy of X-Ray
• (2) Professional References

Qualifications:

• Experience in home health, senior care, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, or working with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring for any changes in health status.
• Knowledge of caregiving best practices including meal preparation, medication administration, and creating care plans.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• On-line Training available for those who would like to enhance their career in Home Care.
• This position plays a vital role in supporting individuals in their daily lives while promoting independence and dignity within their homes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
