JOB MISSION:
The Sales Planning Analyst will report directly to the Team Sports Sales Planning Manager and have cross-functional responsibility supporting the field sales team and critical team sports cross functional partners. This individual will become proficient in navigating the various systems associated with the Team business, most notably our NB Custom Configurator building Custom Uniforms, GTM process and forecasting. Additional systems to master will include Elastic (Customer B2B) and Salesforce. The Sales Planning Analyst will strive for executional excellence within the team sports environment and have a proficient knowledge across all team sport categories.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Work cross-functionally within New Balance Team Sports
Build custom uniform orders on the NBTeam configurator
Execute New Balance contractual account orders
Proficiency of New Balance Systems (Vanguard, Elastic, Salesforce)
Efficiently and quickly navigate MS Teams document library for all reference materials
Owning a Sales Support que
Learn all key features and benefits of all core products; all sports (FW/AP/Access)
Contribute to maintaining and evolving Tools & Processes for Sales Support
Maintain reporting and metrics to drive Team Sports sales goals
Manage and analyze the Sales Forecast and Sell Thru inputs and channels and understand the risks and opportunities
Build and develop relationships with cross functional business partners to achieve financial results for area of responsibility
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Four-year college degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience (ie. Operations, Inventory Planning, Sales Forecasting, Sales Planning or Commercial Sales Role)
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on problem solving, conflicting objectives, and dealing with multiple customers.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage time, multiple tasks, and deadlines effectively.
Working experience with Forecasting Software, techniques and capabilities, and reporting, a plus
Above average proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Basic skills with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
Hybrid work schedule
Some lifting required with product/sample boxes
Self-starter who takes initiative and delivers results on expected timelines.

Flexible Work Schedule
