New Avenues for Youth seeks a compassionate and resilient Assistant Program Manager to join our Moxie Transitional Housing team.

As an Assistant Program Manager, you'll be a consistent and intentional guide for youth navigating difficult paths as well as a support and supervisor for staff providing direct services. Your unique perspective, experience, and resilience will foster opportunity and empower our youth and staff to be more skilled and resourced to address challenging moments and reach their unique goals.

What You'll Do:

Lead by Example: Build trust and rapport with youth and staff using a trauma informed lens; model a strengths-based approach while also holding people accountable.
Collaborate with Others: Foster positive relationships with youth, the housing teams, and broader agency teams to support the access of resources and coordination of services.
Support Growth and Learning: Help onboard and train new staff, engage in supportive coaching conversations with program staff, and promote professional development.
Document the Journey: Maintain accurate and timely records related to youth engagements as well as staff supervision, ensuring that contract, licensing, and program expectations are met.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in psychology or social work, or equivalent experience working with high-risk youth;

* Minimum 2 years' experience working with high risk youth and/or in a residential facility

* At least one year of supervisory experience
