QA Technician-Trim Sampling

Position Summary

Collect fat samples using a core drilling technique on all combos produced. In addition, an E. coli sample will be collected using a N60Plus drilling method or similar method on each combo produced.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned QA testing or source testing on raw materials and supplies.
• Testing shall be accomplished in compliance with local, state federal and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain sampling equipment in a sanitary condition.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records completing all required documentation of laboratory samples and testing.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be flexible to work within production hours.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, strong work ethic, decisive nature & high level of initiative
• Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work with minimal supervision effectively
• Mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal & organizational skills
• Experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train
• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse workforce and upper management
• Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests to be eligible for employment.
• Must be able to pass a background check

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50lbs frequently sit, stand, bend, and walk 8-10 hrs. day 

Work Environment:

• Ability to work in cold or hot environment
• Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities
