Location: on-site in Novi, MI

Salary: $20/ hr / monthly bonus / commissions / full-time benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales and conversion targets.
  • Recommend suitable mortgage loan products, structure, and price loans.
  • Maintain an active pipeline, follow up with clients, and submit loan packages after collecting required documents.
  • Engage in conversation and establish rapport with customers via email and telephone communication.
  • Assist customers by reviewing their credit report to determine if they can proceed with the loan qualification process.
  • Assist customers with gathering loan information and documentation to provide an underwritten pre-approval.
  • Educate customers about next steps for mortgage pre-approval.
  • Set realistic expectations with customers to maximize satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with completing the eConsent and eSign process.
  • Disposition customer files appropriately depending on interest and ability to proceed.
  • Input data into computer system as it relates to information gathered for the mortgage loan.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency communicating with customers over the phone and via email.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Passionate about helping customers achieve financial goals.
  • NMLS licensed with 20 hours of NMLS education complete at time of hire.

Desired Education/Experience:

  • 1 or more years of office or inside customer service / call center experience preferred.
  • 1 or more years of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • NMLS Licensed Preferred but not required to apply

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
