Position Summary
We are currently seeking an skilled Aluminum Dip Brazing Operator to perform hands-on brazing of precision aluminum parts for aerospace and defense applications. The ideal candidate should has prior brazing or heat-treat experience and a strong eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate aluminum dip brazing furnaces and related equipment.
- Prepare, clean, flux, and fixture assemblies per blueprints and specifications.
- Monitor brazing cycles (temperature/time) for accuracy and consistency.
- Perform post-braze cleaning, inspection, and documentation per AS9100/NADCAP requirements.
- Work closely with QA and Engineering to ensure top-quality results.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work area.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in aluminum dip brazing or related processes.
- Knowledge of aluminum alloys, filler metals, and brazing principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prior experience in a NADCAP-certified aerospace environment preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
