New Age Cryo (NAC) is a leader in industrial cleaning and maintenance services, specializing in hydro blasting, vacuum truck services, sponge blasting, and dry-ice blasting. With a workforce of over 130 employees operating from our headquarters in Ringwood, Illinois, we serve ethanol plants and industrial facilities across the Midwest. NAC is experiencing strong growth and is now preparing to establish a second full-scale branch in Fairmont, Minnesota, to double our service capacity.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager with a proven background in the ethanol industry—specifically hydro blasting and vacuum truck services—to lead our next phase of growth. This individual will be responsible for standing up and running a new operations branch in Fairmont, MN, while continuing to support companywide goals from our headquarters in Illinois.
The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial, sales-minded, and highly organized, capable of building a workforce from the ground up while maintaining NAC’s high standards of safety, training, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of NAC’s second operations branch in Fairmont, MN, with the goal of replicating the current 130-person workforce.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, and logistics across multiple sites.
- Travel regularly between Ringwood, IL headquarters, Fairmont, MN, and ethanol plants throughout the Midwest.
- Develop and execute a growth strategy to double company capacity.
- Drive business development efforts by identifying, engaging, and securing new ethanol plants to NAC’s service portfolio.
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage operational staff for the new branch.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.
- Implement effective training programs (including OSHA 10, confined space, lockout/tagout, and fit training).
- Report directly to the Ringwood, IL operations team with regular updates on branch performance, safety, and financial targets.
- Partner with sales and leadership teams to deliver long-term growth.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in industrial operations management, preferably in the ethanol or related industries.
- Direct experience with hydro blasting, vacuum truck services, and other industrial cleaning methods.
- Strong track record of growing and scaling industrial operations.
- Proven ability to manage and inspire large teams (100 employees).
- Experience in sales or business development, particularly with ethanol plants.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and results-driven.
- Ability to travel frequently across multiple Midwest states.
