Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and components within the finish shop area
- Assist with assembly line tasks, including fitting, fastening, and finishing parts using hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards
- Use warehouse experience to organize and maintain inventory of materials and finished goods
- Support the setup and breakdown of workstations for efficient workflow during production cycles
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment such as forklifts, power tools, and hand tools
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily production goals efficiently and accurately
Requirements
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with assembly lines is a plus
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse environment
- Mechanical knowledge or background in working with hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory management processes
