About the Role

Nevada Pediatric Specialists is hiring a Medical Billing Lead to oversee billing operations in a high-volume pediatric practice. This role leads billing workflows, manages A/R priorities, and drives resolution of denials and payer issues.

This position reports to the Revenue Cycle Manager and includes accounts payable responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead billing team workflow (billers & coders)
• Manage A/R follow-up, denials, and appeals
• Prioritize claims based on aging and revenue impact
• Monitor backlogs, productivity, and turnaround times
• Escalate payer issues and resolve claim delays
• Support accounts payable (reimbursements, tracking, documentation)

Requirements

• ✅ 1 year medical billing experience
• ✅ 1 year leadership/supervisory experience
• ✅ Experience with:
  • Medicaid & MCOs (required)
  • Commercial/private payers
• ✅ Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• ✅ High-volume billing environment experience

Preferred

• Pediatrics experience
• CPC certification
• eClinicalWorks (eCW)highly preferred
  • (EMR/EHR experience required if no eCW)
