Responsibilities

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of the day to day operations and will perform tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. This position will be working along side other areas of support and administrative duties. This is a full-time position located in either Carson City, NV or in Las Vegas, NV. Qualifications

Requirements of the position: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management or closely related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products required.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service required.
  • One year of Human Resources experience strongly preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains HR employee files in an accurate, detailed and legally compliant
  • Accurately completes I-9 documentation for new and existing NVHC team
  • Creates and distributes employee photo ID
  • Accurately sends out internal new hire notices and enters new hire information in HRIS system.
  • Sends out new hire paperwork to new hires.
  • Accurately provides internal employee termination notices to ensure separating employee access to IT systems is
  • Tracks employee TB and vaccine testing ensuring regulatory compliance via on-line learning management system (LMS).
  • Assists the HR team with scheduling and coordinating candidate
  • Sends out surveys to collect post interview feedback from peer interviewing team
  • Completes the accurate and timely administration of the employee service award
  • Supports the updating of HR policies and procedures including the employee
  • Generates basic reports in HRIS to assist with analyzing business unit trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies to improve HR’s contribution to the organization’s goals.
  • Utilizing outstanding customer service skills, meets and greets walk-in visitors to NVHC Las Vegas Administrative
  • Prepares appropriate documentation for new employee orientation and various leadership development
  • Completes employment verifications and unemployment documentation in an accurate and timely
  • Provides administrative support to special projects for HR as needed
  • Manages HR team meeting agenda

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Office, Excel and
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Attention to detail in all administrative
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple competing
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent phone and oral communication
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely Ability to speak professionally and effectively to individuals and groups of people
