Job Summary:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our clinic. You will provide administrative and clerical assistance to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care delivery. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and compassionate demeanor will contribute to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist patients with completing intake forms, verifying insurance information, and collecting necessary documentation.
- Enter patient information accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems and update records as needed.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) by handling patient information confidentially and securely.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, taking into account provider availability and patient preferences.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to manage appointment calendars and accommodate urgent or high-priority appointments.
- Provide general administrative support to clinical staff, including photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing documents.
- Relay messages accurately and promptly to appropriate staff members and ensure timely follow-up on patient inquiries or requests.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
