The Role
We're looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide hands-on personal care and support to patients in their own homes. This is an on-site role — you'll be working directly with patients and families every shift, following the care plan set by the supervising nurse.
What You'll Do
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Take and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the patient's care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Follow the individualized care plan established by the RN and care team.
- Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time.
What You Bring
- Current NJ Home Health Aide (HHA) or CHHA certification.
- CPR certification and up-to-date health screenings.
- Reliable transportation to reach patients' homes.
- Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
Salary : $17 - $22
