The Role
We're looking for a Direct Support Professional to help adults with developmental disabilities live full, independent lives in their homes and communities. This is an on-site role built around one-on-one support, day in and day out.
What You'll Do
- Support individuals with daily living skills, including hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Assist with community integration activities — appointments, errands, and recreational outings.
- Support individuals in building social, communication, and independent living skills.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the individual's plan.
- Monitor and document behavior, health status, and daily progress.
- Follow each individual's person-centered support plan.
- Communicate regularly with the care team about changes in needs or condition.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.
Salary : $16 - $20
