Position Details
- Part-time: 1–2 days per week
- Evening shift: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Ideal for students balancing class schedules, labs, and clinicals
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Caring, patient, and compassionate personality
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Must be actively enrolled in college courses (healthcare majors preferred)
Position Summary
As a Student Caregiver / Home Health Aide, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting clients in their daily routines. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
- Grocery shopping and household errands
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Transporting clients to appointments, therapies, and stores
- Accompanying clients to recreational and social activities
- Updating your skills through learning opportunities
- Observing and reporting changes in client condition
- Performing basic healthcare tasks such as taking vital signs or administering prescribed medication (with training)
This role is an excellent foundation for students pursuing Nursing, OT/PT, Medical Assistant, CNA/HHA, or any healthcare profession.
