Role Description
This is a full-time/part-time, on-site role with locations all over the state of Michigan, for a Home Health Aide. The Home Health Aide will assist clients with day-to-day activities, including personal care, patient care, and supporting activities of daily living. The aide will also provide companionship and effective communication to ensure comfort and emotional well-being while adhering to care plans and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in Home Care and providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Strong skills in Personal Care, including hygiene assistance, dressing, and mobility support
- Proficient in Communication to effectively engage with clients, families, and the care team
- Knowledge of Patient Care best practices and ability to follow care plans
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to caregiving
- High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification or similar credentials preferred
- Physical ability to assist with lifting and transferring clients as needed
