Job Overview
We are a clinical research site for patients who are enrolled in a study for Neuro/Psych indications.
We are seeking a Patient Observer to provide essential monitoring and support for patients that are participating in clinical research trials. This role involves closely observing patients to ensure their safety, reporting/charting and supporting overall safe experience. This is a vital position dedicated to maintaining patient safety and comfort through vigilant observation and compassionate support.
Hours
- It is a weekend shift and the hours are 2nd/3rd
- This is not PRN.
Duties
- Support with medication administration and vital signs monitoring in accordance with study protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient observations, behaviors, and any incidents in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow established study protocols tailored to each participant.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Skills
- BLS Certification is required
- Proven experience in patient observation, senior care, or home & community care settings.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA compliance, and medication administration.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to monitor vital signs accurately.
- The ability to draw blood is preferred.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
