What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Litigation Associate position at Neuman Law, PA?
NEUMAN LAW, PA is seeking an enterprising litigation Associate to join our growing team. We represent prestigious corporate clients, closely held businesses and individuals in construction, real estate, community association and other business disputes, throughout South Florida and beyond.
We're a tight-knit litigation boutique — and we like it that way. Our attorneys work closely together, support one another, and genuinely enjoy the people they work with. We believe strong advocacy and a sane, sustainable career aren't mutually exclusive.
What Sets Us Apart
- Attainable annual billable requirement — we believe our associates should have the opportunity to build a practice and network without sacrificing their work-life balance. Hours billed above the requirement are rewarded with bonus compensation.
- Hybrid work schedule — work remotely up to 4 days per week, with potential for full-remote option after your first 6 months (with approval of Managing Partner).
- Meaningful, hands-on experience — you'll be involved in motion practice, mediations, depositions, and direct client and court interaction, not just document review. Attorneys with less than 3 years of experience work closely with and under the supervision of senior attorneys every step of the way; more experienced associates are given greater autonomy to run matters independently.
- A collegial culture that means it — we're a small team by design, and we value working with people we genuinely like and respect.
We welcome applicants across a range of experience levels — whether you're early in your litigation career and looking to be mentored, or a more seasoned associate ready to take ownership of your own matters.

- Supervise paralegals.
- Perform legal research and analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of post-graduate litigation experience, preferably in construction, real estate, community association or business disputes. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
