About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security Product Manager to support a client's Security Engineering team. This role will drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise security products and initiatives across cloud, identity, network security, DevSecOps, and security automation. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with hands-on security knowledge and experience working in regulated federal environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for Security Engineering initiatives.
- Develop product roadmaps for cloud security, IAM, security automation, and DevSecOps capabilities.
- Gather and translate business, regulatory, and technical requirements into user stories and product features.
- Partner with Security Engineering, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.
- Drive automation and process improvements to reduce security risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
- Track product outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of Product Management experience.
- 6 years supporting Security Engineering or Cybersecurity teams.
- Experience managing Agile product backlogs, roadmaps, and user stories.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cloud Security
- Security Engineering
- Network Security
- Zero Trust
- DevSecOps
- Vulnerability Management
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Experience working with engineering and DevOps teams.
- Experience supporting federal cybersecurity standards including NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, and OMB guidance.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
