Fire Alarm Inspector

We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ensuring life safety systems are fully compliant and functioning as designed.

As an Inspector, you will perform inspections, testing, and documentation of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes. This role is critical in ensuring our customers remain compliant and their systems perform when it matters most.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (3-5 YEARS PREFERRED)

• Experience inspecting and testing fire alarm systems required
• Strong understanding of NFPA 72 and related codes
• Ability to follow inspection procedures and accurately document results
• Experience identifying deficiencies and clearly communicating findings
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings and documentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal team
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights (12–32 ft or more)
• Ability to lift, move, and work in active job site environments

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma, (Two year Electronic Degree or Military Training) - Preferred
• Valid driver's license
• NICET II certifications and Michigan Fire Alarm License - Preferred
• No Felonies on background check
• Excellent customer relation skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Detail oriented
• Candidate must have strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently and manage schedule
• Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays
