We are seeking a experienced Telecom Field Technician to install, move and repair telecommunications systems, including phone, internet, and cable services. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality commercial customer service and system reliability. The technician will work on-site at various locations, diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. No residencial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage time and work independently, following detailed instructions.
- Expertise in pulling, terminating, and managing various cable types.
- Proficient in different cable installation methods.
- Capable of mounting and installing backboards, cross-connect racks, and patch panels.
- Install and configure telecommunications equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in telecom networks.
- Perform regular maintenance on network components.
- Educate customers on the use of installed equipment and provide exceptional customer service.
- Keep detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail and follow established procedures
Required Tools:

Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience in telecommunications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the telecommunications field.
- Strong understanding of telecom systems and equipment, including knowledge of BICSI national standards.
- Exceptional customer service skills and experience.
- Ability to work in various outdoor and indoor environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different sites.
