Key Responsibilities
Material, Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Establish and manage centralized warehouse and laydown operations supporting fiber optic and low-voltage construction activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory control for materials such as fiber cable, jumpers, hardware, racks, pathways, and owner-furnished equipment.
- Implement material tracking, security, and control processes to prevent shortages, loss, or overstock while supporting just-in-time construction needs.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, and on-site distribution in alignment with construction schedules and sequencing.
- Plan and schedule deliveries to multiple buildings, floors, and work crews to support efficient field execution and minimize site congestion.
- Proactively resolve logistics and transportation issues to avoid schedule impacts and maintain continuous field productivity.
- Serve as the primary logistics point of contact with equipment owners, suppliers, freight providers, and data center site logistics teams.
- Coordinate receipt, storage, and controlled release of owner-furnished equipment in accordance with site and client requirements.

- Develop and execute site-specific logistics plans that support scalable data center construction and network buildout.
- Monitor logistics performance, material flow, and delivery accuracy to identify risks and drive operational improvements.

- Partner closely with construction management, project controls, engineering, and field supervision to align logistics execution with build schedules.
- Participate in planning meetings to anticipate material needs, resolve constraints, and support milestone-driven delivery.
- Lead and coordinate logistics personnel, including material handlers, to ensure safe, efficient, and organized operations.
- Enforce site safety standards, material security requirements, and data center access protocols.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of logistics management experience within construction environments, preferably supporting data center, fiber optic, low-voltage, or telecommunications infrastructure projects. Demonstrated experience managing material flow for multi-building or campus-style projects is strongly preferred.
- Logistics & Systems Expertise: Proven ability to manage warehouse and laydown operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and coordination of owner-furnished equipment in a fast-paced construction setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for material tracking and reporting; experience with MS Project or similar scheduling tools is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management or construction management systems is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing field demands, anticipate material needs, and resolve logistics challenges without impacting construction schedules.
- Communication & Leadership: Effective communicator capable of coordinating with field crews, project management, vendors, freight providers, and client logistics teams. Able to lead logistics personnel and support site-wide coordination efforts.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, construction management, or business are preferred.
- Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support coordination with field personnel and vendors.
