The Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of the Netris platform.
This role goes far beyond traditional functional testing. You will validate distributed systems, networking workflows, APIs, infrastructure automation, and large-scale deployment scenarios that power modern AI infrastructure environments.
You will work closely with backend engineers, infrastructure engineers, network architects, and product teams to build a world-class quality engineering practice focused on automation, observability, and release confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for controllers, agents, APIs, automation workflows, and networking functionality.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Validate distributed systems operating across servers, switches, and AI infrastructure environments.
- Develop automated API and end-to-end test suites.
- Participate in release validation, defect analysis, and root-cause investigations.
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve testability, reliability, and operational quality.
- Help define quality standards, release gates, and testing best practices across the organization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD validation pipelines.
- Identify quality risks early and drive them to resolution.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in Software QA, Test Engineering, or Quality Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with: TestRail, Jira, Playwright, Postman and REST API testing, Git-based, development workflows
- Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
- Linux fundamentals and comfort working from the command line.
- Scripting and automation experience using Python and/or Bash.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
- Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, EVPN, or VXLAN.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience testing infrastructure automation platforms.
- Experience working with AI infrastructure, GPU environments, or datacenter technologies.
- Performance, scale, reliability, or chaos testing experience.

This is a hybrid role. We have an established engineering presence in the United States, Armenia, Taiwan, India, and Australia, and these are our preferred locations. We are also open to exceptional candidates in other locations.
