The Role
We are looking for a senior infrastructure engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of distributed agents running across servers, switches, and SmartNIC/DPU environments.
This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role with ownership across architecture, implementation, reliability, observability, and operational excellence. The role requires deep systems engineering expertise, strong Linux networking knowledge, and experience building resilient distributed infrastructure components operating in large-scale environments.
What You’ll Do
- Lead architecture and development of high-performance infrastructure agents written in Golang
- Build systems managing L2/L3 networking, routing, switching, VXLAN/EVPN overlays, NAT, ACLs, and policy enforcement
- Design scalable telemetry, observability, and monitoring pipelines
- implement resilient communication mechanisms using gRPC and event-driven architectures
- Ensure agents operate efficiently across servers, switches, and SmartNIC/DPU environments
- Optimize systems for performance, resiliency, scalability, and low resource utilization
- Participate in architecture reviews and mentor engineers
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of infrastructure or systems engineering experience
- Strong production experience with Golang
- Deep understanding of Linux networking internals
- Experience with BGP, VXLAN/EVPN, routing, NAT, and ACLs
- Experience building distributed systems and agent-based architectures
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes CNI implementations
- Experience with SmartNIC / DPU platforms
- Experience in hyperscaler or infrastructure companies
- Experience with AI infrastructure or GPU networking
