Parts Buyer - Procurement Analyst
Role Location: Tempe Milk Plant

What is the payrate for this role: 25.00
Role requires the candidate to be onsite 5 days a week.
Role hours: 8 am - 4pm Arizona time M-F subject time. Can be worked out with the hiring manager. Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime as needed.
Is there a possibility this assignment will be extended? Possible depends on need.
Is there a possibility this assignment will be converted to full-time employment? This is for LOA only.

Role Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of critical materials
- Assist with monitoring inventory of maintenance and operational supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and compliance with purchasing procedures.
- Assist maintenance teams to forecast material and tool needs for preventive maintenance while maintaining regulatory and company standards.
- Assist in managing contracts for facility services, such as HVAC, janitorial, and equipment repairs, ensuring all agreements align with company policies.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and vendor performance for management review and audit purposes.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to facility management, procurement, and compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum 1- 2-year experience working in an office or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement, especially in a manufacturing or production environment, is nice to have.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of purchasing software and inventory management systems is nice to have.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of facility maintenance and operational needs is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and production staff.
