This role involves significant interaction by phone, email, spreadsheets (Excel), and within our Microsoft Business Central ERP system. You will assist wholesale customers (garden centers, nurseries, landscapers, supermarkets), consumers (homeowners, gardeners, enthusiasts), and internal colleagues (sales/account managers). Daily responsibilities include processing and auditing orders, handling billing and shipping inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth, positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Business Central to support daily and weekly customer service tasks.
- Process and review orders from multiple channels, including wholesale accounts, sales representatives, online orders, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage incoming calls and emails, serving as a first point of contact for product inquiries, order issues, credits, account information, and payments.
- Partner with sales staff to support customers who order exclusively through sales representatives, from order entry to resolution of product or account issues.
- Investigate and resolve product or service concerns by identifying the issue, determining root cause, offering solutions, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Handle high volumes of phone and email communication while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through clear, compassionate, and solution-oriented communication.
- Accurately document customer interactions, process account updates, and maintain organized records.
- Collaborate effectively with both the customer service team and broader company departments to achieve results.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 3 years in a customer-facing or contact central role.
- Education: High School required. Preferred: Bachelor's or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central, strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management skills and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
