🚨 Software Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript / AWS) – Hybrid (Chesterfield, MO)

Location: Chesterfield, MO (St. Louis area) – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Duration: 12-month contract (extension possible)

Employment: W2 only (No C2C)

💼 Overview

We are hiring a Software Engineer to support a global R&D technology platform focused on building scalable, cloud-based applications.

This role is centered around:

• Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript
• AWS cloud development
• NoSQL data modeling

👉 This is not a robotics, embedded systems, or data science role

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain cloud-based applications using Node.js / TypeScript
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and JSON-based services
• Design and work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Deploy and support applications in AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, EC2, IAM)
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Contribute to architecture and system design
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Maintain technical documentation

✅ Required Experience

• 4 years of experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Strong backend experience with Node.js
• Experience building APIs and web applications
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• 2 years of experience with AWS
• Experience building cloud-native applications
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed systems
• Event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience working in R&D or data-heavy environments
