Technical Designer

Title: Technical Designer/ Graphic Designer 3

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 8 months contract

Payrate: $50-$54/hr on w2

Job Description:

The nature of the work is focused on the appearance of product, communications, or collateral materials.

Graphic Design - Will work with Graphic Designers that create the design but this person will put together the schematics of the design that will be sent to factories for production.

Assists with ideation, concept development, and branding.

Leads team projects and works independently to complete individual projects. These projects include, but are not limited to the development of print, packaging, 3-D retail displays, event signage, logo systems, imagery, video, and collateral materials.

Effectively uses computerized systems in design process. Adobe Suite Project Management - Works with functional teams from initial concept development to final production and distribution.

Manages individual projects beginning with internal briefings, managing timelines, and scheduling work-back schedules, budget management, supplier coordination, reviewing specs, recommending production alternatives, and maintaining quality production standards.

Cost Control - Manages both individual projects as well as groups of projects to stay within stated budgets.

Estimates all aspects of project development.

Communicates project details, design requirements, scheduling needs, and graphic materials.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience.

If no bachelors, looking for 7-8 years of experience Must be proficient in Adobe Suite Previous.

Experience working in screen print is also nice to have but not required.

CLO 3D fashion design software is nice to have Efficient on Mac laptop and Microsoft office Strong communications, working with Graphic designers and factory partners with client Passion for Sportswear and streetwear is required
