Job Tittle: Maintenance Planner
Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 6 months contract with possible extensions
Shift Timing: 6:00am - 3:00pm
Job Description:
The Maintenance Planner coordinates maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory management, and turnaround activities in a specialty chemical manufacturing environment. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Maintenance teams to plan work, manage SAP maintenance data, optimize inventory, and support safe, reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance work using SAP.
- Develop work plans, manage parts, BOMs, task lists, and maintenance records.
- Support storeroom organization, inventory accuracy, and process improvements.
- Coordinate turnaround planning, contractors, materials, and shutdown/startup activities.
- Promote safety, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years of maintenance planning experience.
- Chemical plant or industrial maintenance experience required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Salary : $30 - $35
