Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 weekly guaranteed

Pay Range: $38- $41/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home therapy services to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. The Homecare PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments and exercises as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety measures, and proper use of assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy protocols in the patient’s home environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, and the therapy team.
• Schedule and coordinate visits with patients to ensure consistent therapy sessions.
• Identify any changes in patient condition and report concerns promptly to the Physical Therapist.
