Title: Freight Payment and Auditing Specialist
Duration: 09 months contract
Location: Rahway, NJ

Shift: Standard Business Hours

Position Summary
• Execute freight payment and auditing processes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely invoice processing.
• Manage relationships with third-party freight audit providers and support logistics reporting activities.
• Analyze transportation data and maintain dashboards to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to support logistics operations.

Responsibilities
• Execute internal and external processes supporting freight payment and auditing activities.
• Manage third-party freight audit providers and support logistics reporting processes.
• Ensure timely payment of freight invoices in accordance with contracts.
• Drive deployment of standard freight audit and pay practices.
• Develop transportation budget overview and reporting to monitor monthly performance.
• Measure and report effectiveness of audit and payment processes.
• Ensure transfer of freight payment data into reporting systems.
• Determine metrics, implement improvements, and maintain dashboards for performance tracking.
• Conduct process improvement reviews to identify automation opportunities.
• Manage relationships and improvement initiatives with audit providers.
• Manage month-end accruals and journal entries.
• Support carrier online shipping applications.

Qualifications

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in freight payment or accounts payable, or additional experience in lieu of education

Experience:
• Experience in freight payment, logistics, or accounts payable
• Experience working with SAP ECC and SAP Ariba for purchase order management and accounting
• Experience with analytics and dashboarding tools

Skills:
• Extensive experience with MS Office applications
• Strong customer service mindset
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across functions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail when working with large datasets and documents

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards
• Pharma industry experience
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
