Technical Publication Specialist
Location - Peoria, Illinois
Duration: 12 Months of contract with possible extension
Role:
- Development and review of technical publications and manuals for products
- Bill-of-material and technical data review for submission to government organizations and systems
- Provide daily support to Manager of Information & Technology Services
Tasks:
- Oversee creation, development, and maintenance of technical manuals
- Print redaction
- Media translation requests
- Product manual compilation
- Media storage, documentation, and transmission
- Provide part information to customers
Skills:
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Strong ability to collaborate and work with others
- Listening skills & taking initiative
Additional Technical Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Strong knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
- Strong knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Office365, Adobe/Nitro, etc.
