Position Description
Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor
SHIFT: Friday from 6am-2:30pm; Saturday & Sunday from 7am-11:30pm

Medical City Plano is a full-service, Magnet designated 600 -bed acute care hospital with more than 2,070 employees. As part of ***, we have the resources and clinical expertise necessary to provide exceptional care. Our services include a level 1 trauma center, comprehensive cancer treatment, advanced surgery including robotic and minimally invasive, orthopedics, heart and vascular care, and complete women's and children's services including a high-risk antepartum unit and a Level 3 NICU.
Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
Provides high quality diagnostic imaging.
Oversees daily shift operations and staff.
Interact effectively with all Imaging modalities to improve work flow, patient communications, and customer satisfaction.
Take appropriate measures to resolve customer issues and service recovery.
Maintains records and documentation.
Educates staff, patients and family.
Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.
Delivers customer focused care utilizing the Excellence Always Standards to include the transport of patients as necessary to facilitate optimal patient care/flow.
Qualifications
Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor Job Requirements:
Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology Program
ARRT, MRT, BCLS
At least 3-4 years of acute care staff technologist and 1-2 years of acute care supervisor experience in this specialty.
