Job Title: Compliance Analyst
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $45–$48/hr on w2
Job Summary:
The Compliance Analyst will support a large-scale Customer Information System (CIS) modernization project. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory, legal, and tariff requirements are properly understood and applied as systems and processes evolve. The position works across multiple business units and operating companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support regulatory and compliance-related inquiries from internal stakeholders
- Conduct research on federal, state, and local regulations
- Analyze regulatory, tariff, and legal impacts on system and process changes
- Assist in designing compliant business processes during system transformation
- Participate in project meetings including standups, workshops, and design sessions
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to compliance and implementation efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related field
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Experience supporting large-scale projects or system implementations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in utilities or energy industry
- Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, Jira, or Confluence
- Experience with system transformation or modernization projects
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model (onsite Tuesday–Thursday)
- Collaborative, fast-paced project environment
