Job Title: Chemist I - Physical Testing Lab
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hr on W2
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary
Seeking a Chemist I to support a Physical Testing Lab by preparing polymer samples, performing routine physical testing, operating laboratory equipment, collecting test data, and following established laboratory procedures. This is not a research role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare polymer samples and testing standards.
- Perform routine physical testing, including compression molding, melt flow testing, tensile testing, and other physical characteristics testing.
- Operate laboratory instruments according to established procedures.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Collect, review, and report test data through established systems.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams while following required laboratory procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher, or equivalent job experience.
- Laboratory experience.
- Experience using laboratory instrumentation.
- Ability to follow established laboratory procedures.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to safety.
