Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Job Title :- Engine Test and Validation Engineer

Location :- Middletown, CT / Day 1 onsite

Duration :- 11 Months

Shift Timings - 2nd shift (2pm/3pm to 10pm/11pm Mon - Fri)

In this role, you will be working alongside OEM customer teams performing engineering validation tasks supporting aircraft engine development, testing and certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engine test and/or assembly/tear-down actions between the technicians and IPT/Engineering groups.

• Communicate technical issues to IPT/Engineering groups and work with cross-functional teams to support finding solutions

• Collect and report flight test data and/or engine assembly/disassembly status to IPT/Engineering groups

• Local candidates in Connecticut required. Variable shift work sometimes required

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• BS in Engineering or Associate degree with relevant work experience

• 2 years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving capabilities

• Experience in technical management of engine parts, repair, engine test, engine assembly and disassembly

• Familiar with engine work instructions, part/assembly drawings and materials lists

• Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint

• Active security clearance preferred but not required
