Job Title: Accountant
Location: Boston MA(Remote)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Pay rate: $40-50 an hour on W2
The nature of the work is focused on the monetary affairs of the company. Prepares timely and insightful analysis of financial balances and results to determine accuracy and compliance with GAAP and NIKE accounting policy. Understands financial systems and data elements Prepares management reporting and analytical tools. Prepares or reviews account reconciliations. Monitors compliance of processes, transactions, and balances with accounting and finance policies. Participates in system developments, including testing. Implements specific action plans and processes in coordination with Participates in system developments, including testing. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 3 yrs; Masters 4 yrs; Associates degree 6 yrs; High School 7 yrs. Preferred - CMA or CPA
Individual should have several years of accounting experience, strong excel skills, SAP skills a plus, CPA a plus
Strong Communication skills - Written and verbal
Working with team - 2-3 people
Breakdown of how months would look:
Jan/Feb 2025 – 50% (20hr) possibly more
Mar-Sep 2025 – 100% (40 hr)
Sep-Dec 2025 – 50% (20 hr) possibly more
