**Job Summary:**

As a Controls Tech Specialist I, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, reliability and system control's data credibility of PLC and PC-based automation systems in Nestlé Purina's new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting of automation systems and provide instrumentation, PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support to the maintenance staff.
- Maintain an up-to-date and complete set of as-built electrical and controls documentation.
- Coordinate and implement control system software upgrades.
- Perform Network Administration and Data Administration tasks for networked, PC based, control systems related equipment.
- Develop, read, and interpret all electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and programs essential to plant operation; provide updates as necessary.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 3 years' applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI systems OR Associate's Degree in a technical discipline and 1 years' applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI systems.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% for training purposes to other Nestlé Purina factory locations within the U.S.
