Our pet food factory in Zanesville is favorably located along the banks of the Muskingum River in scenic east-central Ohio halfway between Columbus and Wheeling, West Virginia. This 100-year-old facility was acquired by Nestlé Purina in 1987 and has since evolved to incorporate our innovative portfolio of products, processes, and technical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support and improvement activities, including QA checks, problem-solving, project implementation, and standard creation and revision
- Ensure effective quality operations, including ingredient management, formulation, product safety, and compliance with release criteria
- Lead daily sensory product program, and maintain finished product reference samples and photo standards
- Enter results of QA testing into appropriate division Quality Assurance databases
- Provide coaching and training for factory associates regarding QA requirements, expectations, and quality and food safety checks
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in science related field (Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, related technical field) strongly preferred
- 1 years experience working in a food manufacturing environment OR quality assurance experience
