Position Summary
Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. Together, we take immense pride in producing and distributing the brands that our customers trust and that bring joy to pets' lives. In addition to offering excellent career opportunities to over 370 associates, we actively demonstrate our commitment to the community. We support local pet shelters and rescue efforts, as well as engage in education and hunger relief programs, ensuring that we make a positive impact beyond our factory walls. We also are doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.
As the Maintenance Supervisor you will oversee, coach, and develop maintenance team members in various departments as required. You will also plan and execute the daily work activities for all personnel in assigned areas. You will utilize the equipment and material at hand to meet predetermined quality and safety standards and maintain an efficient operation with the established standards for cost, quality, labor, material, safety, and housekeeping. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will also assign team members to jobs and instruct them on the performance of work assignments. You will also schedule special projects and emergency repairs for all departments in need of maintenance support.

- Mentor team members to build technical competencies in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and career growth.
- Assign daily work tasks to team members and monitor task accomplishment.
- Ensure team members have the proper tools, supplies, and equipment needed for successful task completion.
- Support factory continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform required training for all employees and conduct behavioral based safety observations.
- Ensure safety, corrective and preventative maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist in budget preparation and reports maintaining a low cost and high-efficiency operation.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production, or military environment.
- 1 years’ people leadership experience.
