What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sewing Machine Operator position at Nesco Resource?
Nesco Resource has openings in the Hodgenville area for a Sewing Machine Operator. First shift: 7AM - 3:30PM. Monday through Friday.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using a variety of materials, e.g., cotton, rayon, polyester and wool or combination of fabric contents.
- Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces.
- Fit, alter, and make made-to-measure clothing according to customers' specifications and guidelines.
- Press garments, using hand irons or pressing machines.
- Follow verbal and/or written instructions.
- Maintains sewing machine to ensure proper working order.
- Keeps working area clean and orderly.
- Attention to detail.
- An employee will be required to follow any other job-related duties required by the manager.
