- Performing general janitorial duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.
- Operating and maintaining specialized cleaning equipment, like high-pressure washers and industrial vacuums.
- Cleaning and sanitizing machinery, tanks, and other industrial equipment.
- Handling and disposing of hazardous waste and chemicals safely.
- Performing deep cleaning tasks on structures like ceilings, walls, and beams.
- Following and enforcing strict safety standards and procedures.
- Inspecting equipment and facilities for maintenance needs or potential hazards.
- Documenting cleaning activities, procedures, and any encountered issues.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper usage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is often required.
