What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Production - 3rd Shift HPP position at Nesco Resource?
Nesco Resource is currently seeking Food Production Associates for our long-time client in Ferndale.
Shift: 3rd Shift - 10pm - 6:30am, Monday - Friday with overtime as production demands.
Assigned position could be any of the following (among others):

Assigned position could be any of the following (among others):
- Packaging Associate
- Machine Operator
- Mixer
- Batcher
- Verify and retrieve correct cups/lids/labels
- Retrieve product from cooler or designated locations
- Inspect each package for nonconformities, correct dates and seals
- Comply with safety and quality procedures
- Ensure proper sanitation for production areas, surfaces and machines
- Familiar with production machinery safety
- Prepare paperwork and supplies for efficiency at the start of shift
- Perform necessary set-up and pre-check tasks on machine
- Operate assigned machine according to specific work instructions and production schedules
- Monitor machine for correct settings and operation
- Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance as needed
- Maintain clean and safe workspace adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices and quality standards consistently
- Complete necessary paperwork at end of shift
- Food manufacturing/processing experience is a plus but not required
- Desire to learn
- Willingness to cross-train/learn multiple departments
- Ability to communicate effectively via written and verbal methods
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs intermittently throughout shift
- Ability to work in a wet/cold (35-40 degrees) environment
