A major client of ours has a need for an ERP Manufacturing/Labeling Systems Specialist for their Stratford, CT office. This position is onsite and it is a contract.
Our client is looking for someone who can take ownership of a labeling-system conversion project involving approximately 167 labels. You’ll work closely with the existing team to understand their current processes, migrate and configure labels in the new system, troubleshoot issues, and provide knowledge transfer as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert approximately 167 labels to a new labeling system
- Work with ERP data, database tables, and fields
- Design and configure labels
- Work with BarTender labeling software
- Configure and troubleshoot Zebra printers
- Test and troubleshoot label output
- Work closely with the internal team
- Provide training and knowledge transfer
- Independently identify and resolve technical issues
Desired Experience
- ERP consulting or ERP systems experience
- BarTender experience
- Zebra printer experience
- Crystal Reports, including working with tables and fields
- Strong Windows knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel skills
- VPN experience
- Acrobat/PDF labeling experience
- PHP experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn an existing environment and take ownership of a project
