Our hourly rates are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. The hourly rate for this position is $22 plus a $2 shift differential.

What you will accomplish:
- Responsible for the canning and packaging process while following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for each piece of equipment.
- Set up, operate, and maintain all packaging equipment including filling, seaming, and packing equipment to ensure quality and efficiency of product output.
- Conduct operation and repairs of equipment in a safe manner, following lockout tagout procedures.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure that equipment and product quality is maintained at all times.
- Perform the following quality tests on a routine basis labeling checks, code checks, seal checks, equipment challenges, and weigh checks.
- Analyze mechanical and operational issues on assigned equipment and take corrective action.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise on any of our high-speed canning machinery.
- Maintain batch work orders (Batch Correct First Time).
- Routine lifting of weighted items greater than 55 lbs.
- 4 years of experience working in food or beverage manufacturing preferred; infant formula a plus.

- Must be punctual and reliable, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Required to stand, walk, reach above shoulders, handle, grasp, pinch objects, control tools or equipment, and kneel for 8-10 hours per shift.
